Who we are

Cire Services is a large community based, not for profit organisation servicing the Yarra Ranges and beyond. Cire provides a range of services to meet community need through life-long learning. We offer family and children’s services at numerous sites throughout the Yarra Ranges. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses. We also have a community school with three campuses and two community hubs located in Chirnside Park and Yarra Junction.

Cire is a Child Safe organisation and prides itself on advocating for the rights of children and young people.

About the role

Due to increasing demand and growth of our services, we have multiple positions available for Assistant Educators based in Chirnside Park, Mount Evelyn and Yarra Junction. Permanent and casual positions are available.

Our dedicated Children’s Services team are professional and friendly with a strong desire to create positive experiences for the children in their care. Led by our experienced Directors, the team focus on creating opportunities for development, inclusion and engagement. You will be joining a team that is committed to service excellence and you will receive all the necessary resources and support to ensure your success.

Your days will be fun, challenging and varied. Working as part of a team of experienced educators, you will:


  • Arrange play spaces that are inviting and that encourage children to express themselves creatively

  • Support your fellow educators to share information with families in relation to the care, welfare and development of their children

  • Provide innovative and culturally appropriate programs that value individual needs

As a professional educator:


  • You are dedicated to supporting the development and wellbeing of children

  • You have a qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III or higher) and experience in a similar role

  • You have a good understanding of program development and behaviour management strategies

  • You pride yourself on engaging effectively with the children in your care and their families

  • You understand your obligations under the Child Safe Standards and are comfortable working within the National Quality and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks

  • You have all your current certifications including Working with Children Check, first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma management
