Description

The Sales Director will play a key role and is responsible for the Growth of ON24’s clients in APAC with a focus on the Commercial segment. This senior leader will drive high velocity efforts of new logos and expansion within the Commercial account segment. The successful candidate will lead a team of new business Account Executives to collaborate with internal groups such as Marketing, Lead Gen, Sales Ops, Account Management and Customer Success to drive measurable value for ON24 leading to strong, predictable growth of our customer base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide the leadership and sales acumen necessary to significantly scale the ON24 Commercial Sales team in APAC.
  • Deliver on sales quota that exceeds objectives, ensuring that quarterly and annual booking and subscription targets are achieved.
  • Recruit, manage, lead and develop a best-in-class sales team to attain sales goals.
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching and tactical insights to improve sales productivity.
  • Show evidence of consistent methodology-based sales success both as an individual contributor and sales leader
  • Set individual team member goals; provide performance feedback on results, including annual performance reviews.
  • Manage sales forecast to ensure accurate data is provided to executive team.
  • High quality engagement and communication skills to provide excellent customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to transition a team from small company to large company, whether private or publicly run.
  • Clear and consistent communication to senior management
  • Provide competitive intelligence for use in positioning of company product offerings.

Skills & Experience
  • Must possess excellent management skills to manage & scale an Acquisition sales team.
  • Demonstrate record of success in a goal oriented, high velocity, sales environment.
  • SaaS sales leadership experience is essential.
  • Senior level strategy, communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize company objectives and meet aggressive deadlines; outstanding team leadership, team development and communication skills.
  • 3+ years of management experience leading sales teams in growth oriented SaaS companies.
  • 5+ years of SaaS experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation solutions strongly recommended.
  • Bachelors Degree required, Advanced Degree strongly recommended.
  • 35%+ travel required (typically post COVID).
