Flexible work Part-time position, 20 -25 hours per week over a minimum of 3 days

About the opportunity
RFM currently manages mature macadamia orchards in the Bundaberg region and a 64-hectare property Nursery farm. If you are an office all-rounder, looking for the certainty of a part-time position, but with the ability to be flexible and work additional hours as needed, this may be the job for you.

Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Data entry to record farming activities and associated costs
  • Entering invoices and allocating to relevant cost codes in Great Plains accounting system
  • A variety of administration work including invoicing, inductions, safety administration and other tasks
  • Maintaining employee induction systems
  • Providing administrative assistance with all WHS documentation, including completion of policies and procedures, review of documentation, maintenance of registers, training and induction of staff and contractors, and drafting of materials
  • Assistance with the management of staff and visitor inductions, staff uniforms, functions and amenities
  • General administrative activities including mail collection, filing, cleaning, telephone answering and stationery ordering
  • Maintaining good relationships with staff, suppliers and contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation

Requirements

What you will need to be successful

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Formal administration qualifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven administration skills displaying strong organisational and time management ability
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
