About This Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Research Partnerships Manager to support the University of Queensland's industry outreach and connectivity via contract management across all types of research contracts and agreements within the Faculty of Medicine.

The key objective of the role is to establish and maintain effective and productive interactions with clinical and industry partners as they seek to engage with the University.

This position is located at our Herston Campus, UQ’s core campus for clinical health teaching and research. Conveniently located just minutes from Brisbane’s city centre, there is access to multiple public transport connections, onsite parking and cycling facilities.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal person for this role will hold Postgraduate qualifications (or progressing towards postgraduate qualifications/an undergraduate degree and a combination of relevant education/training), and extensive contract management experience ideally within a University setting.

In addition, you will have proven skills in research contract administration and management, knowledge of the higher education research funding environment and demonstrated understanding of intellectual property management and knowledge transfer. You will be an exceptional communicator, be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term position at HEW level 8.

he full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $100,264 - $112,583 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range of $117,309 - $131,723.
