JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Officer to join the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) to support the Senior Advisor, Digital Communications as well as the multi-disciplinary Communication and Education team to drive effective digital communications at the RTA. This position is a temporary, full time role until 31 December 2021 and is located in the Brisbane CBD.

The RTA is a self-funded, state government statutory authority that provides tenancy information and support, bond management, dispute resolution, investigation, and education services. RTA's vision is “Renting that works for everyone”.

The RTA administers the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (the Act). The RTA works with all sector groups including tenants, property managers and owners, community and industry stakeholder groups and the Queensland Government.

The role of Senior Digital Officer is responsible for maintaining the RTA intranet, web presence, internal and external email campaigns, providing webinar support, video production, and digital communications for surveys and events.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Demonstrated experience in Drupal content management and SharePoint content and document management;
  • Proven ability in maintaining internal and external email campaigns, newsletters and associated audiences to support strategic communication plans;
  • The ability to collaborate and partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of digital campaigns;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; and
  • The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
