Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week

Role Purpose/Context:

The Project Manager is responsible for:

  • providing high level project management and governance of identified complex and sensitive projects that are of critical importance to the agency and relevant Minister.
  • delivering high level and authoritative strategic leadership and expertise to drive implementation of complex and sensitive projects.
  • leading strategic delivery of complex and sensitive projects and initiatives.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Lead and manage project and strategic planning functions for the delivery of specific complex and sensitive major projects as identified.
  • Management of projects including program reporting on budgets, status/progress, outcomes and risks, and development and implementation of innovative and tailored solutions.
  • Highly effective relationships are developed and maintained with key industry and Government stakeholders, project proponents and key corporates and universities, to influence and ensure the achievement of critical strategic goals and objectives.
  • Strategic development and management of the Lot Fourteen Tenancy Strategy including future occupancy strategies, tenancy queries and collation of information.
  • Development, delivery and management of the Technology Strategy for the Lot Fourteen precinct.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, business, project management or similar and/or relevant industry experience.

Special Conditions:
This is a term contract for 24 months in the first instance. Some out of hours’ business work, intra and Interstate travel may also be required. Engagement in this role may be subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services background screening check.
