Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring

How will I help?

As part of a team of risk professionals contribute to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group. You will be supporting the business to drive a strong risk culture and awareness in daily business decisions and business strategic initiatives. In addition, you will act as the first point of contact in relation to the Consumer Chief Transformation Office (CTO) risk controls and policies and provides advice or input into business risks and issues.

As a Manager you will work across the exciting world of CTO to provide insights into potential risk issues / impacts. You will support management in the pro-active consideration of the risk and control implications of key projects and change management initiatives to drive the timely and cost-effective incorporation of future controls. In addition, you will facilitate regular reviews to ensure ongoing operation within the business' defined risk appetite, and capture supporting metrics and thresholds.

You will coach and support business resources in how to perform controls and self-assessments and comply with their risk and compliance obligations; utilising various coaching and training methods i.e. facilitating workshops to identify control related issues and aid in the development of solutions and remediation plans.

What do I need?

You will have experience in operational risk or compliance advisory experience. In addition, you will have risk management, legal or compliance experience.

You must have relevant industry qualifications (risk, compliance or business related).
