Job Summary:
Working within the Customer Experience and Service Operations Team the Manager Service Development's focus are the recruitment, talent management, training and development activities across Registration & Licensing Customer Services.
Leading a Team of Service Development specialists, the Manager Service Development is responsible for delivery of best practice contemporary training, identifying and building future talent capabilities, addressing knowledge, skill, and behavioural gaps, and ensuring the recruitment and talent needs of the organisation are met in a manner that is sustainable and best places the organisation for future success. The role is also accountable for leading a team of experienced learning and development, and recruitment professionals and for developing fit for purpose and innovative employee experience strategies and solutions.
Essential Functions:

* Develop innovative recruitment, talent management, learning and development strategies and solutions to achieve customer service levels, quality targets, and other key performance indicators
* Lead and develop a team of specialists focused on delivering accurate and best practice recruitment, talent management, learning and development outcomes
* Exercise independent judgement in all learning, development, recruitment and talent management activities to drive both effectiveness and efficiency through matching the best delivery mechanisms and techniques for the required organisational outcomes
* Collaborate and consult with senior managers, leaders, executives, and R&L Customer Services partners to provide expert advice for all recruitment, talent management, learning and development activities
* Lead the business requirements specification and development of innovative solutions for all recruitment, talent management, learning and development activities to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

* Experience relevant to the capabilities of the role
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Education or another relevant field
* Demonstrable experience and results in enterprise Organisational Development activities
* Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand, and fast paced environment.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
* Communication skills to effectively engage with various levels of management, staff and external contacts.
* A current and valid driver licence
