Warehouse Operator – Receiving

  • $30-$35 per hour + Super, depending on experience
  • ASAP Start | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Parramatta Location | Great Company Culture

About the company: Our client, a large Manufacturer and Distribution are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator with receiving experience who is a team player to join their growing team in Parramatta.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for working in a small team to achieve company goals. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with some flexibility.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the receiving function production is supported and inventory delivered in a timely manner.
  • Assisting material handlers with day to day replenishment.
  • Other duties include stock management, cycle counting, inventory, and dispatch of goods.
  • Working in a fast-paced and dymanic team
  • Receiving goods, which will involve problem-solving
  • Bin location management
  • Data processing high volume
  • Providing reports to combat issues in receiving team
  • Be actively involved and hands on with the team, assisting where required in picking and packing or operating forklifts
  • Following current processes and procedures, identifying risks and area’s of opportunity and costs reduction
  • Manage and maintain WMS ensuring all data is accurate and of high integrity
  • Actively participate in meetings
  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
  • Promote a safe and clean working environment with a positive culture
  • Ensure compliance with SOP’s and best practice
  • Provide support to the Warehouse Lead as required

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Warehouse Receiving experience
  • Demonstrated Warehousing, Production or Inventory experience
  • Valid Forklift licence
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg
  • Impeccable communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Solid problem solving and negotiation skills
  • High attention to details
  • Practical, hands-on, take initiative with a team player attitude
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in VMS
  • Understanding and commitment to WHS policies & procedures
  • Availability to commence immediately
  • Valid Driver’s license and own reliable transport
