Group Operations (GO) Digital’s objective is to enable customer centric process excellence, simplification and digitisation and bring this together with intelligent automation delivery. We assist GO process owners by defining the business problem and benefits; bringing to bear our COE capabilities; and supporting our Delivery team who use a range of options such as Organisational Change, BPR, workflow, BluePrism RPA and Pega RDA.

This is an exciting role helping to enable Westpac to achieve its strategic goals, business objectives and Digital outcomes.

How will I help?

The Robotic Process Analyst is a key thought leadership role and will be responsible for a high cadence of mining opportunities and drive of opportunity discovery through to funding release. You will be engaging process owners, data analysts, robot and solution architects, to build the business case and support requirements, design and change for the delivery team.

The role requires a business perspective of process improvement through to future state re-imagination. Lean six sigma methods are desired to assist definition of the problem; and a deep understanding of automation enables rapid solution permutations including through engagement of Robotic Architects. Strong communication and presentation skills are required to manage expectations with senior operations process owners.

The role will also participate in requirements, design, analysis and testing during delivery phases. As a member of the agile team, you will be responsible for defining stories and assisting and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.

What do I need?

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis and requirements gathering (e.g. Lean)
  • 2+ years in Robotics Process Automation
  • Superior Stakeholder Management and Presentation skills
  • Understanding of constraints that make a process automatable and how to overcome those constraints
  • Background in Financial Services or Consulting will be highly advantageous
