About the role
Maxima are recruiting an experienced Colab Community Lead with an approximate start on the 10th of May. Beginning at 8am and working through until 5pm. The pay for this role is $58.06/hr with 38 hours per week.


  • Assists and supports the Colab Operations and Partnerships Manager in managing the entire Portfolio Company lifecycle, such as intake and onboarding.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining strong customer service relationships with new and existing Portfolio Companies, community and stakeholder groups.
  • Develops and coordinates the delivery of new and existing capability development programs and services developed by the Colab or in conjunction with partners, stakeholders, or affiliates.
  • Delivers workshops, presentations and other forms of programs to the Portfolio Companies and abroad relating to entrepreneurship and innovation, and the Colab offering.
  • Advances the operations of the Colab by developing and maintaining effective marketing and communications, with emphasis on digital marketing.
  • Support the Operations and Partnerships Manager, as an ambassador for Colab and engage internally and externally with a range of stakeholders and at industry forums to promote the strategic objectives of Colab and encourage high tenancy uptake.
  • Promote and market members' services and programs to current members and prospective hub users.

Applicants must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of highly successful capability programs and services for entrepreneurs
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships and community within an innovation hub
  • Proven track record in managing diverse community needs and expectations
  • Significant knowledge of and hands on experience (at least two years) within the operations of an innovation hub in a role similar to a community manager
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field is highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and communications is desirable
  • A good understanding of accelerator/incubator models and the intersect between economic development, innovation and entrepreneurship at a research/literature level
  • Significant experience in relevant customer journey mapping and subsequent successful service delivery to add value and/or improve outcomes for both the customer and the organisation
  • Significant knowledge and experience in the development and management of effective marketing and communications strategies including digital marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
