We are proud to be Australia's only manufacturer of UHF CB radios with our state-of-the-art purposed built facility in Sydney, Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Senior People & Culture Adviser to join our People & Culture Division as we embark on an exciting growth phase.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the Senior People & Culture Adviser will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the People and Culture Manager with annual cyclical people and culture activities, initiatives and projects
  • Running the full cycle recruitment and selection of employees
  • Assisting in the review and analysis of company policies and practices to ensure they continue to support the organisation’s needs and legislative requirements
  • Running the bi-monthly (every 2 months or as required) group company induction process for all new employees
  • Assisting in the production of the monthly “P&C News” to the business
  • Assisting the People and Culture Manager in communicating with leaders and employees as required
  • Assisting in maintaining the company HRIS and generates ad-hoc reports ensuring the system provides up-to-date, accurate and relevant data to manage the company’s human resources
  • Assisting in performance management matters with the ownership of managers and can provide advice to managers in assisting employees to deal with performance situations or other special circumstances
  • From time to time, working closely with the People and Culture Manager in the implementation of various strategic or other human resource management programs
  • Assisting with the formulation and dissemination of the annual Performance and employee reward cycle (including STI’s, LTI’s and the annual remuneration review) for all employees
  • Providing administrative support to the division as and when required
  • Liaiseing with the People and Culture Manager in the management of employee benefits including the annual Living Our Values Rewards and other employee reward events
  • Maintaining a continuous program of self-improvement and maintains the appropriate and relevant level of knowledge and expertise (attendance at appropriate professional associations i.e. AHRI), courses, seminars and activities
  • Any other duties as directed.

To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • University qualifications in the Human Resources Management discipline
  • Experience with employee relations, industrial relations and other related employment legislation
  • 5 years’ or more experience working in the field of Human Resources
  • Engineering / Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not essential
  • A high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality and communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), in particular Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and can work unsupervised at times
  • A high degree of work ethic and a commitment to a professional career in HRM
  • A ‘team player’ and is not afraid to roll their sleeves up when required
