Why we need you

This position present a unique opportunity for a qualified and experienced candidate to join Main Roads as a Works Supervisor in the Kimberley Region to supervise the delivery of road and bridge works by Direct Management and/or minor works contracts throughout the Kimberley Region, varying from shoulder reconditioning program to major road upgrades.

You will supervise the delivery of works by Direct Management, Minor Contract Works (including road surfacing and rehabilitation) in accordance with the technical specifications and provide advice and assistance in the preparation and prioritisation of the Ten Year Network Delivery Plan and Annual Works Program.

To be successful you will be:

  • experienced in road and/or bridge construction and/or maintenance, including materials selection for construction and maintenance purposes
  • experienced in pavement construction and bituminous surfacing processes and techniques
  • demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse road works crew
  • a highly motivated individual who thrives on a challenge
  • a good communicator with an ability work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
