Do you consider yourself a leadership development subject matter expert who possesses first class stakeholder engagement skills, is collaborative and can form trusted relationships.

The Leadership Academy team in the NSW Public Service Commission is looking for a centred, adaptable, results-oriented Business Partner to work with the Manager, Leadership Academy to successfully deliver the vision and objectives of the Academy.

The Academy delivers a suite of blended learning programs specifically designed for current and emerging leaders across the NSW public sector. Key to providing consistent, high quality service is building and delivering world class. This is where you come in.

You have extensive experience in and are passionate about leadership development. You’re a problem solver, have excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are self-motivated, innovative, and solutions focused.

As a Business Partner your impact will be seen by:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, customers and peers in the review, delivery and evaluation of the Program.
  • Leading and implementing evidence-based, contemporary world leading leadership development solutions
  • Initiating and managing a range of leadership development projects and initiatives to deliver a world class leadership development Program.

Essential requirements

A tertiary qualification in learning and development, organisation development, leadership development or similar and/or equivalent experience with contemporary learning methods with a focus on leadership development.

About the Public Service Commission

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is headed by an independent Public Service Commissioner and is a separate agency under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (GSE Act) that supports the Commissioner in the exercise of her functions and powers.

The PSC leads the design, development and implementation of the full range of workforce management strategies - including workforce capability, recruitment and assessment, performance management, and strategic workforce planning - to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the NSW public sector workforce.
