Reporting to the Sales Manager the purpose of this role is to maximise the quality of the customer’s encounter with the dealership and to maintain and administer the day-to-day operations of the aftersales requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Service Advisor within the Dealership Network or experience as a Master Technician with excellent communication skills.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Complete service reports to operators when required
  • Dispense all oils and record the issues on the correct R.O’s
  • Diagnosis of customers concerns
  • Road test customer vehicles to ensure that work carried out by the technical was completed correctly
  • Advice customers of technical and product concerns
  • Reprograming ECU-radios, GCS etc.
  • Connected Services customer enquiries
  • Quality check repairs
  • Arrange accessories for sales team deals
  • Assist in registrations
  • Raise repair order (R.O’s), ensuring that all client and requested work details are entered accurately
  • Ensure where possible that an estimate on the cost of repairs (parts & labour)
  • Reporting all contacts, parts, warranty and interactions
  • Where possible, conduct early investigations into possible warranty or good will policy acceptability
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and redirect, when necessary, to the appropriate personnel
  • Advise clients of any additional required repairs with cost estimates
  • Advise clients, when necessary, of completion of work requested
  • Update R.O’s when required
  • Review, cost and raise invoices for Warranty and Retail repair orders
  • Answer promptly any retail or internal servicing and technical queries
  • Follow up back ordered parts and contact clients

  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of Australian Consumer Law would be an advantage
  • Master technician would be an advantage
  • Trade qualification (preferred)
  • Strong customer focus
  • Display enthusiasm for what you do
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer literacy and administration skills
  • Current vehicle license
