Title: Long Term Maintenance Planner

Work location: Solomon

Roster: 5 days on 2 days off, 4 days on and 3 days off

Reporting to the OPF Weekly Maintenance Senior planner, the Long-term Maintenance Planner will be responsible for managing of both CAPEX and OPEX budgets, submission of Projects and CER's, and the development of maintenance plans to be integrated into the weekly and shutdown schedule. The role requires the candidate to liaise with both Maintenance and Shutdown Superintendents to ensure that site has the capacity to execute the agreed maintenance schedules.

Key accountability will include:

  • Strong understanding of Work Management processes
  • Review and seek information from internal and external maintenance personnel to ensure all work orders have the relevant Costings for CAPEX and OPEX related tasks.
  • Developing detailed CAPEX and OPEX budgets
  • Developing Budget forecasts for a 2-5 year window
  • Submission of Projects and CER's for large tasks
  • Work with Key stakeholders to develop and manage maintenance plans
  • SAP Master data experience in: Plan, Item and Task list creation, Plan Management
  • Conduit between Commercial and Site based teams
  • Working within the ACLM tool

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Proven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance
  • A relevant trade qualification and 3 years’ experience as a maintenance planner
  • Working experience with maintenance management systems and experience as a planner using SAP
  • Knowledge and demonstrated use of MS Outlook with Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present plans and ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Work within a team environment liaising with Superintendents, Weekly and Shutdown planners an engineering and to ensure that work orders are reviewed and costed appropriately to reflect budgeted amounts.
  • Experience and ability to facilitate meetings
  • Ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment
  • Strong business analytics background highly beneficial
