Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) is a Victorian government statutory authority and energy safety regulator, responsible for ensuring electricity, gas and pipeline safety for all Victorians. This is achieved through safety systems which audit and monitor the design, construction and maintenance of all electricity and gas networks and installations and by ensuring that appliances and equipment meet safety and energy efficiency standards before they are sold. In addition, comprehensive public awareness campaigns are undertaken to educate the community on the potential dangers of gas and electricity.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing (CAMS) and working with CAMS colleagues and the broader ESV, the Digital Adviser will implement recommendations of a review conducted in 2020 that looked at the effectiveness of the ESV website and the delivery of information to the community and industry.
The Digital Adviser will develop a plan to implement these website changes and work with ESV's external website provider and the ESV Information Services division to ensure a seamless transition.
Key responsibilities include:

* Produce and execute an overarching plan to implement the website recommendations outlined in the review, including clearly described milestones and timelines for the implementation of the recommendations of the ESV Website Research Program.
* Working in consultation with various internal stakeholders, such as the CAMS team, the Information Services team and the broader ESV divisions to ensure key information is obtained, up to date and readily available on the website.
* Develop and implement guidelines and toolkits to support ESV people in using and interacting with the website.
* Contract and relationship management with ESV's external website provider.
* Ensure optimal website user experience, including visual style, as well as ensuring the website meets all Victorian government standards for accessibility.

To be considered:
You will have significant experience in website management and communications working in a similar role within a public sector or regulatory setting. Furthermore you will have demonstrated experience in managing website restructure projects, improving user experience and increasing traffic from key stakeholders, as well as expertise in content management systems (Wordpress), website visual design and consistency of content.

* Proven experience in developing highly effective internal and external stakeholder relationships is essential.
* Additionally a tertiary qualification communications, digital communications, website management or similar is required.
