General Foreman role with a mid tier growing builder on projects from 1- 5 million in the Commercial and Industrial space.

The Company:

  • We are currently partnering exclusively with a growing mid-tier builder who are looking to bring on board a foreman, to work on either residential builds 1-3 mill, or warehouse builds up to 5 mill.
  • This builder is well established and produces quality work in sectors they operate in with mainly repeat and referred clients.

Day to Day Duties:

  • Foreman on either residential or industrial projects from inception to completion
  • Run a team of carpenters, direct and subcontractors.
  • Provide direction and oversee day to day on-site operations.
  • Organise material orders and delivery.
  • Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with architects and engineers.
  • Provide training and mentoring to apprentices and junior carpenters.
  • Assist in scheduling and responsible for ensuring project time frames are met.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years post trade carpentry experience.
  • Practically minded, skilled carpenter with the ability to interpret and conceptualise plans.
  • Ability to and experience of leading either residential or industrial projects and site teams from start to completion.
  • Ability to work autonomously and outcomes based.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active approach
  • Current drivers’ licence
