Manage the production of one of South Australia's most familiar household brands.

Nippy’s, a household name for over 50 years, is a proud South-Australian, family-run producer of fresh citrus, juices and flavoured milk products. Nippy’s are known for their unwavering commitment to quality, adopting a ‘tree-to-table’ model, ensuring only the freshest produce is delivered to consumers.

About the Role:
Based at the Moorook site the Production Manager plays an essential part in the overall production of flavoured milk and other beverages. With a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and a positive can-do attitude the successful candidate will be able to lead and influence a team, be happy to pick up the tools and get their hands dirty when needed.

Additional key responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain staff roster for 24-hour, 5 day a week production.
  • Assist with creation of production schedules.
  • Delivery of quality, productivity, and safety KPI’s for production department.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Work with Nippy’s team leaders to ensure all staff are working effectively with high morale

About you:
The successful candidate will have a positive can-do attitude and proven experience working within a similar role. You will possess a demonstrated high-level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with a focus on successful outcomes.

Necessary training may be provided for the right candidate

You will also have/be:

  • Driver’s license & reliable transport
  • A great work ethic and commitment to your role
  • Strong team leadership skills and an ability to resolve team conflict professionally
  • An ability to follow and adhere to WHS initiatives
