Working within the Content and Channels team the Digital Content and Channels Adviser develops and publishes innovative, high-quality, and effective digital content (including written materials) to promote the government's priorities and the department's objectives.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements, and undertake a wide variety of work across the branch.
The key accountabilities of the role include:

* Source, write, edit and publish digital content for the corporate website, newsletters and social media channels including handling responses and community management. Ensure compliance with whole-of-Victorian Government and departmental digital standards and communication guidelines, including appropriate approval processes.
* Work closely with the Video Production team, Digital Governance and Intranet team, the broader Strategic Communications and Marketing Branch and departmental colleagues to coordinate content planning and publishing.
* Analyse and report on the performance and effectivness of digital channels including social media, websites and newsletters.
* Provide specialist advice to internal clients on digital best practice, standards compliance and issues management.
* Provide advanced support to the Senior Adviser Content and Social Media and other team and branch members to ensure effective day to day management of all corporate channels including responsibilty for efficient editorial processes.
