The Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research (MMIHR) is focused on finding and advocating for effective strategies to create healthier societies. Our research aims to address critical public health issues by identifying and responding with innovative programs that deliver better health outcomes and transform lives.

The Clinical Trials Project Coordinator will provide primary coordination of services for an NHMRC funded research project within the Exercise and Nutrition Research Program (ENRP).

More Specifically The Role Entails
  • Develop, coordinate and monitor a new NHMRC human clinical trial under the general supervision of the Chief investigators;
  • Coordinate end-to-end research activities in line with funding agreements;
  • Ensure adherence to ACU and external protocols, policies and procedures;
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement by supporting events and recruitment campaigns.


To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
  • BSc(Hons) or equivalent degree with significant relevant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in clinical trials management
  • Demonstrated research and administration skills within the clinical research area.
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational skills especially with respect to the management of clinical trials, ethics submissions and management of research budgets.
  • Evidence of ability to show commitment with integrity to the Catholic Identity, Mission and ethos of the University.

Total remuneration valued to $105,196 - $113,835 (pro-rata) pa, including salary component $88,892 - $96,207 (pro-rata) pa (Higher Education Worker Level 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
