Due to an exciting period of change management, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to manage the Bendigo Hospital which facilitates the delivery of enhanced health services to the Loddon-Mallee Region.

This role will drive exceptional customer service and stakeholder management across the contract for non-clinical hard services ensuring the delivery of contracted services safely, efficiently and with full compliance of contract terms.


Ideally, you will possess tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management or a Trade with experience across an integrated property services model grained within the healthcare/hospital industry or another high controlled environment. You will also possess;

  • The ability to build and develop effective client/stakeholder relationships across multiple levels
  • Experience managing a team of in-house staff and outsourced subcontractors whilst ensuring compliance and minimal disruption to hospital operations
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Well development financial acumen with the ability to review budgets, reports and other performance data against KPIs and identify improvements
  • Lifecycle planning and portfolio management ensuring optimisation of whole of life costs and outcomes
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial building statutory obligations, codes of practice and Building Code of Australia regulations
