Installation Manager – (Licenced Builder)

CSR Limited is a leading Australian Manufacturing business with a rich history. We are recognised for our innovative approach to developing sustainable and high performing building products and systems for the residential and commercial segments across Australia and New Zealand.

Part of the CSR family, our Masonry and Insulation (M&I) Business Unit comprises of Bradford Insulation, PGH Bricks and Monier Roofing. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking to appoint a reliable and well-organised Installation Manager reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will work closely with our subcontract installation crews, internal contracting and sales team and our customers, ensuring compliant execution of installation services of insulation, energy & roofing products across NSW and ACT.

Key result areas include:

  • Contractor management – manage the operational activity of installation crews and internal contracting team ensuring contractor compliance and training.
  • Ensure all required certification (licenses, authority to work cards, etc) & insurances (public liability, workers compensation, etc.) are available & current on CSR systems (e.g. Rapid Global) to demonstrate compliance of any installation labour
  • Ensure terms of all contracts & licenses are understood and maintained ahead of time to ensure compliance of all currently utilised installation labour
  • Establish and maintain a reliable & effective network of labour by region & product group across NSW / ACT to meet the required capacity demands
  • Where new labour is introduced, ensure appropriate onboarding, induction & product, process, system & safety training
  • People management: provide clear and effective leadership to your team and ensure your team comply with relevant policies, procedures and expectations of their roles

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A current NSW Builders Licence is mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to understand our business as a service provider, responding to market needs and delivering services that support differentiation and price premiums
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities having prior experience leading a successful team
  • Minimum 3 years trade experience in the construction industry as a builder, installer, electrician or roofer
  • Excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation & influencing skills
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to unite stakeholders towards common goals
  • Results-focused with strong customer service, interpersonal and stakeholder skills
