Position Summary:
The Transformation Program Manager will manage the development, delivery and implementation of processes, projects, initiatives and programs that support the organisation's transformational objectives and Government commitments as they relate to the Case Contact and Outbreak Management Branch of the COVID-19 Public Health Division.
Responsibilities:

* Provide timely, professional advice, support and guidance to the Direct of Transformation & Strategy
* Lead the development and implementation of processes and systems for the effective monitoring and coordination of cell objectives.
* Engage with key stakeholders to develop sound policy outcomes that supports the response to COVID-19.
* Manage complex outcomes and apply concepts drawn from non-related fields to address policy issues
* Identify possible barriers to success and develop mitigating strategies that seek to resolve any issues.
* Liaise with other government areas and key industry sectors.
* Participate in strategic planning and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
* Provide timely, high-quality and accurate information and advice on issues related to a range of key stakeholders.
* Maintain an excellent understanding of issues impacting IPC as it relates to COVID-19, as well as Commonwealth and State legislative and policy directions.
* Proactively identify opportunities and manage risk.
* Contribute advanced expertise and knowledge to benefit strategic planning and organisation/sector-wide outcomes.
* Manage a range of projects/functions each with increased budget, staff responsibilities or strategic importance.
* Respond productively to deliver solutions and outcomes in an organisational environment complicated by scale, heterogeneity and complexity.
* Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
* Operate within increased level of autonomy and accountability in delivering within broad strategic directions.
* Provide leadership and guidance based on advanced expertise.
* Contribute advanced expertise and knowledge to benefit strategic planning and organisation/sector-wide outcomes.
* Manage a range of projects/functions each with increased budget, staff responsibilities or strategic importance.
* Respond productively to deliver solutions and outcomes in an organisational environment complicated by scale, heterogeneity and complexity.
