Working with a well-funded and industry backed MedTech company, this is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity to secure a role as the Senior .NET Developer within the team, working closely with the founders of the company, clinicians and technology enthusiasts to support and drive the ongoing product evolution for this innovative MedTech product offering.

This is a senior hands-on technical role which involves newly signed off development work leveraging your expertise across the Microsoft .NET development stack.

Working with leading industry peers and talented minds, you’ll feel highly engaged and empowered in this role, where you’ll enjoy being a key player in the team for supporting solution design activities, with the opportunity to share & impart your own ideas, and you will have the opportunity to partake in the ongoing evolution and scalability of development for the product itself.

We are seeking a truly talented Software Engineering professional with an eye for innovation, modern design and the user-experience staying front of mind, and someone who can work autonomously to code and maintain deliverables in this rapidly scaling MedTech venture.

A typical day involves:

  • With an eye for detail, skilfully developing new applications and enhancing existing applications within the application portfolio.
  • Designing and producing high-quality software to support the company’s technical roadmap, that also allows for performance and stability.
  • Offer ideas and contribute to continually improving development tooling and processes.
  • Develop the ongoing application support framework and approach.
  • Designing optimal data models, application layers, and presentation layers based on functional and non-functional requirements, the company’s solution architecture designs, and industry best practices.
  • Performing automated unit testing using nUnit, integration testing, and performance testing, and provide support for user acceptance testing activities.
  • Contribute to automated build and deploy processes to execute deployments to Azure Cloud infrastructure.

Being a hands-on technical role, the skills that would help you to hit the ground running include:

  • Expert software engineering and development skills working across the Microsoft .NET stack, including: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft C# .NET framework & Core, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft AD.
  • Development experience using Bootstrap, HTML, jQuery, CSS / SASS & Source Control. 
  • Experience working with RESTful Web Services and Source Control.
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud Infrastructure & Services.
  • Knowledge & understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Exposure to Microservice Architecture would be a key advantage.
  • Experience with Automated Unit Testing (nUnit).
  • Exposure to React or Angular would be highly regarded. 
  • Experience working with MedTech and Healthcare IT solutions, or medical devices will be highly regarded, although if you come with great ideas from other dynamic industries, we’re very keen to speak with you.
