What we're doing

The Account Partner sits within the QLD Developer Sales Team, who works with property developers to promote their Projects and New Homes through a suite of world class display and classified media products across realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au. The team is responsible for ensuring the needs of property developers are always at the forefront, as well as promoting products our consumers love and customers' value.

The Account Partner supports the Developer team in the following ways:

  • Ensure revenue targets are met & exceeded each month, quarter and year
  • Identify key prospects and develop sales proposals to meet the advertisers marketing and sales objectives
  • Regularly meet with customers to build knowledge of their business while promoting REA's products and services
  • Understand prospective client/agencies business
  • Understand the local market, including new site launches, initiatives (within and outside existing client base) and general online industry developments
  • Build relationships with direct clients and keep abreast of any new developments and revenue opportunities
  • Proactively seek out new business and revenue opportunities, ensuring there is a sufficient pipeline of new/additional business to meet & exceed targets
  • Prepare and deliver quality sales presentations and proposals to prospects/agencies

Who we're looking for…

  • Someone with a few runs on the board ‐ proven media sales experience, ideally in an online environment
  • Knowledge of the property developer industry
  • Sales experience to direct customers as well as ad/media agencies
  • Good knowledge of advertising processes and strategies
  • Analytical skills, to enable reporting on client activity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant further education (ie degree) beneficial
