About Us:

Possability is an Australian non-profit organisation, providing a range of quality individual and flexible support options, supported accommodation, employment and training, respite and intensive support for people with disability and children and young people with a history of adversity. Possability is the trading name for all disability services and child and youth services that we deliver in Tasmania, Victoria, and Queensland.

Who we are looking for:

  • Reporting directly to the Skills and Development Lead, you will have excellent time management and interpersonal skills. A team player, you are objective and results-driven with a dynamic and proactive approach.

Role Requirements:

  • Review, develop and continuous improvement of targeted skills programs, training solutions and organisational development programs for Possability.
  • Engaging internal or external subject experts to collect and maintain core procedural information and systems that manage exceptional Possability services.
  • Provide facilitation, training moments or lead and coordinate skills training and organisational development schedules, responsive to needs or mandatory requirements and relevant administration.
  • Contemporise and utilise methods for high staff engagement in content, retention of information and capability building within key operational and management roles.
  • Lead and coordinate organisational training needs, administer scheduling, attendance and competency assessment with associated reporting or escalation and mapping critical roles development with associated performance reporting.
  • Under general direction, apply knowledge of policies and procedures, guidelines and statutory requirements relevant to the organisation and community sector to provide ongoing support within the specified discipline.
  • Manage required projects within required timeframes, setting work task priorities and monitoring work flow, to oversee the specific Lifecycle role, with related transactional and operational functions and perform responsibilities that may extend to the overall Human Resources functions.
  • Coordinate and administer People and Culture reporting requirements in relation to the specified discipline.
  • Coordinate and develop People and Culture form templates and standardised letters in relation to the specified discipline.
  • Undertake and report on any research requirements allocated by the People and Culture team.

About You:

  • A minimum Diploma qualification in Human Resources Management or experience deemed to be the equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience working in HR or related role
  • Training and Assessment qualification (preferred)

Other Requirements:

    • Current unrestricted driver’s licence relevant to the location in which this role-based.
    • State-wide travel as required to meet business needs.
    • Provision of a satisfactory National Police Check.
    • Provision of a Working with Children registration with an NDIS endorsement.
    • Provision of a satisfactory pre-employment medical questionnaire.
