JOB DESCRIPTION

A fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing P&C Team and partner with the State Leadership to deliver best practice HR leadership, advice and support.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced HRBP who can deliver on the following in support of our Business:

  • Partner with the State Manager and state leadership team to ensure best practice legislative and Business processes are met with regards to people and performance.
  • Provide support to and work closely team members and clients to proactively nurture positive relationships and drive high performance.
  • Navigate and resolve employee relations issues with support from the National P&C
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit processes.
  • Support line managers to implement and manage team member’s objectives and KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Business.
  • Rollout national HR initiatives and training.
  • Build strong employee engagement.
  • Maintain the HR information system with job changes and terminations.
  • Provide advice to team members on HR policies and payroll queries
  • Coordinate and support the annual appraisal review and remuneration review
  • Show leadership in the maintenance of our Safety Culture and Values
  • Implement and monitor work practices and standards to ensure quality, environmental and safe work procedures are adhered to.

  • Superior influencing and relationship development skills
  • Ability to travel to sites within the relevant state
  • Resilience and agility
  • 5+ years in an HRBP role in a multi-site blue collar environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations issues
  • Knowledge of the market and operational environment
  • Experience in negotiations with Unions - advantage
  • Experience representing a business at FairWork tribunals and conciliations - advantage
