JOB DESCRIPTION

Applicants must have a minimum 2 years’ experience within the lending industry. The successful applicant will join a team of Brokers currently servicing the greater metropolitan area of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Successful applicants must be well presented, have above average written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working in a positive and dynamic environment.

Applicants will prepare and lodge loan applications to the lenders utilising Mercury software. The role will also include updating our internal CRM, assisting and supporting brokers when required.

Duties and responsibilities

End to end processing from initial inquiry, assessment, application to post settlement
Completing product comparisons, bank servicing and loan submissions.
Follow up clients to obtain information required
Completing upfront pricing requests and mortgage discharges
Entering and lodging online applications
Preparing supporting documentation for loan submissions
Liaising regularly and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire process
Managing risk and lending within regulatory guidelines
Core requirements to be considered for the role include,

Experience in end to end residential mortgage loan processing
Commercial Finance experience is preferred
Previous experience in a broker support role
Experience in the Mercury platform used by Connective or similar
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a range of stakeholders
A positive and friendly demeanour
Strong analytical and time management skills
High attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Initial training will be based in Brisbane (max 1 month), but the position will be based in Benowa (Gold Coast) with a view to becoming home based.

Hours are flexible but would require min 4 days per week.
