The Woolworths Food Company is a key business within the Australian Food Group. It is the natural evolution of our passion for food, innovation and our customers. The Assistant Brand Manager sits within our Food Company business and is responsible for: 

  • Supporting, developing and implementing elements of the Own Brand marketing program including; brand strategy, insight development and proposition development, promotional strategy, reporting, advertising, brief writing, events, statistical and commercial analysis
  • New product development 
  • Key contact for agency partners 
  • Maintenance and communication of information, including marketing administration
  • Budget management 
  • Campaign management - across all platforms (internal and external)
  • Execution of marketing related projects as agreed with the Brand Manager

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce 
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing / Buying / Retail / Operations
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Experience with internal and external agencies
  • Introduction to merchandising / Business Acumen
  • Although not essential, it would also be desirable if you had the following: 
  • Retail/FMCG experience 
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Brand Manager/Assistant Campaign Manager role
  • Previous experience in ATL campaigns
