The Role:
Our facility at the Melbourne Assessment Prison (MAP) is looking for a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Administration Support Officer (ASO) to join their team working Monday to Friday 7 am – 3 pm/9 am – 5 pm. Possibility of weekend shifts (Sat/Sun), rotating roster from 8 am – 4 pm.

The Melbourne Assessment Prison is an Australian remand and reception prison located in Spencer Street, West Melbourne, and offers an easy commute for candidates based in the CBD and inner suburbs the surrounding area. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime. You will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative support services and deliver high customer service in this front line reception role. 

Essential experience and attributes include the following (selection criteria):

  • Customer service experience in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience in general administration, including; scheduling appointments 
  • Ability to the main phone line, transfer call and complete general reception duties
  • Medical experience is desirable
