Our client is seeking for an immediate start a Demand Planner on a Temporary basis to commence with, with career opportunities for the right candidate.

Based at their Southbank office, and reporting to the Demand Manager, you will join a successful, experienced and friendly team supporting their overall team goal of providing leading demand planning and forecast accuracy for both internal stakeholders and external customers.

This Demand Planner role will be responsible for:

  • Conducting monthly Review meetings as part of the overall S&OP process
  • Gather, analyse and validate demand data
  • Working with Customers and Account Managers to ensure the most recent market intelligence is reflected in the demand process, with accurate forecast maintainance
  • Maintaining & updating DFUs (demand forecasting units) in the demand planning system. This includes ensuring that item lifecycle changes (new items, phase out, discontinued items) are captured & actioned in a timely manner.
  • Managing procedures for measuring, managing and reducing forecast error, including work on continuous improvement in the forecast feedback mechanism
  • Ensuring forecasting is completed within the S&OP process timelines
  • Other related duties.


The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Demand Planning experience or related Supply Chain disciplines
  • Experience with large datasets in an analytical & problem solving role
  • High attention to detail with the ability to interpret, analyse & action complex scenarios & info inputs
  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships and communication with internal & external stakeholders
  • Able to work autonomously and be highly organised
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and S&OP principles
  • Advanced MS Excel skills & experience using ERP & reporting systems.
