The Position:

As part of the Roche Diagnostics Australia transformation for the future, an exciting opportunity has arisen to take a leadership role in the Customer Success Community. The focus of this community will be to deliver annual financial targets (total sales and operating profit), while leading a customer focused squad who can think and act both short and long term; achieving a win/win for customers and RDA. This will be achieved through high customer engagement, creating exceptional customer experiences, ensuring all customer interactions are executed with precision and accuracy, and that marketing strategies and campaigns are successful within the market.

You will lead Customer Success Community’s State Business Partner Squad, ensuring commercial excellence in everything we do, and the customer truly feels that they we are a key partner to them, helping them to achieve their goals. For the transformation to be successful, collaboration is key, and therefore you will work hand in hand with all communities across RDA. You will specifically collaborate with Customer Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, Strategy and Solutions, Commercial Excellence and all Business support functions to ensure you deliver success to your community.

As the State Business Partner, you will be the single point of contact and principle trusted advisor for C-Suite and local government engagement of your state and maintain awareness of all activities within your customer sites while including other RDA specialists to complement your interactions. You will also take full responsibility for either the CPS or RMS sales portfolio, depending upon your field of expertise. To support a matrix-working environment, you will provide frequent updates to the broader RDA team to foster inclusion and transparency.

Your role will require outstanding communication and networking skills and through mentoring and coaching your squad, you will entrust and empower them to make decisions. You will work with your team to remove any road blocks that may get in the way of success and equip them to be the best version of themselves every day.

You will help foster a culture of continuous feedback, accountability and passion for making a difference in patient’s lives. The customer is to be at the centre of everything you do and you will play a part in achieving the RDA vision of better outcomes for everyone in Australia, through the execution of the 1,000-day strategy.

As a member of the Customer Success Leadership Team you will have responsibility towards supporting the success of the entire community, and are required to think and operate at a higher level.

Who You Are:

To be successful in this position you will be an experienced Sales Leader of complex sales. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

Outstanding communication and networking skills

You will have extensive market knowledge with 7+ years’ experience coupled with an entrepreneurial flair, curiosity, resilience and tenacity.

Strong and proven C-suite engagement experience with a demonstrable record of accomplishment.

Demonstrated leadership experience to lead and motivate a team without direct reporting authority and proven ability to effectively direct resources as required by the customer.

Established and strong relationships within the customer C-Suite ideally with a respected position as a trusted advisor within your current or previous role. Established relationships within State Government is highly desirable.

Knowledge of the financial, business and sustainability priorities of the customer with an in-depth knowledge of their values, needs, KPI’s and future goals.

In depth knowledge of the RDA 1,000 day strategy and how we align to the customers’ goals and values.

Proven ability to delegate, empower, coach and mentor

Proven ability to provide feedback and hold a team accountable

Highly developed financial and commercial acumen

Commitment and passion to succeed

The ability to think and plan strategically

Strong analytical skills and the ability to set and manage budgets

Ideally be able to work in an agile way using agile methodologies

High computer literacy and technical ability

Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required by the position
