Searson Buck are proud to be partnering with Riverview Retreat in their search for a Rostering Coordinator.

Riverview Retreat is a small, family-based provider of support services for people with additional needs. Built upon the principle of facilitating a rich and fulfilling life for our participation, we offer a person-centred approach to their daily care and regular access to community-based programs. We are dedicated to supporting people with additional needs to experience their optimal quality of life.

About the role:

The Rostering Coordinator will provide rostering services to support our clients, client service managers and support workers and will be responsible for:

  • The quality, consistency and continual improvement of rosters and rostering process
  • Day to day rescheduling activities to cover unplanned changes in employee availability
  • Improving the timeliness of responses to clients and support workers
  • Engagement and liaison with key stakeholders
  • Proactively identifying and reporting on shortfalls
  • Promoting efficient use of resources and budget
  • Phone, email and database management

The person we are looking for will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar position within Disability or Aged Care sectors;
  • Relevant diploma level qualifications in community services;
  • A strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Superior organisation, prioritisation and time management;
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, influence and negotiate;
  • Numerical and planning skills relevant to roster coordination;
  • Experience using CRM Database and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Continuous improvement focus;


  • Right to Work in Australia;
  • Current Drivers Licence;
  • Current National Police Check (within the last 6 months);
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People registration (with employment status)
