Kip is excited to be opening a flagship pet boarding site in the Adelaide Hills. As the manager of the first Kip branded boarding business in Adelaide you will be responsible for driving the growth of the business, building the team and providing a high level of care to our four-legged guests. As a leader in our organisation you will need to embody our core values of transparency, trust and care.

The role will be a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to have accommodation on site included as part of the package.

Hours vary between 7am & 6pm and including Saturdays and Sundays.

About the Role

Duties and responsibilities

  • Working in the day-to-day operations of our facility
  • Liaising with customers, answer enquiries and manage bookings
  • Delivering a high level of customer service and quality of care
  • Lead, motivate and coach a high performing team
  • Maintain social media page and field enquiries

Experience and skills

  • At least 2 years experience handling various temperaments of dogs
  • Competent with computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
  • Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done
  • Quick learner

Key requirements

  • Must have current open driver’s license & vehicle access
  • Must have experience in leadership
  • Must have at least 2 years paid experience working with cats and dogs
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to socialise dogs of all breeds
  • Must be available 7 days a week including weekends, public holidays & Christmas Period
  • Certificate II in Animal Studies (preferred, but not essential if hands-on experience can be proven)
