Profusion Group have an amazing opportunity for a inbound sales and Customer Service Professional to work with a leading Life Insurer discuss their products with customers on a general advice basis.

This particular client boasts an excellent company culture with a forward thinking approach. As a result of their growth and success, they require the assistance of Sales and Customer Specialist, eager to build a career in this space further. This is a brand new department for the business, join the journey.

Role Overview - We can only consider Residents/Citizens at this time.

Candidates with strong customer service skills within Insurance and banking looking to step up in to a customer centric consultant role would perform well. You will be responsible for providing phone-based general advice and services to existing and new customers, managing inbound and outbound calls to client requests. These products include life insurance services (Income Protection TPD, Trauma, Children Cover) that our client provide.

  • Respond to inbound enquiries from customers and provide general advice on our range of life insurance products
  • Be the key customer contract during the insurance application process
  • Provide quotes and complete applications include tele-underwriting questionnaires
  • Issue correspondence including records of General Advice
  • Complete necessary data entry and filing
  • Keep the customer up to date in relation to an application’s progress

Skills & Experience

  • Customer Service experience essential - Insurance/banking/wealth preferred
  • Desirable - RG146
  • Retentions/Sales experience desirable
  • You will have a positive mind set, be focused and motivated
  • You will have the ability to handle objections and have the resilience to handle problems and think outside the square
  • The ability to build rapport, utilise negotiation and influencing skills in customer interactions in order to retain at risk customers
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
