About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Procurement & Property team as a Procurement Operations Specialist. In this pivotal role you'll support the Procurement team to deliver EnergyAustralia’s strategy and operational goals. Specifically, you will:

  • Support the Procurement team through the identification of tactical sourcing and cataloguing opportunities, establishing and maintaining catalogues and providing procurement administration support
  • Support internal and external stakeholders through the R2PO process and supplier enablement
  • Support good governance through understanding and applying SAP S/4HANA and Ariba administration
  • Deliver insight in internal spend and market intelligence through data analysis and reporting
  • Focus on continued improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of Procurement processes.

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

  • Proven ability to build and develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as being able to change priorities/workload quickly and enthusiastically;
  • Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills;
  • High attention to detail and ability to self manage;
  • Previous exposure to S/4HANA, Ariba, Maximo and Fieldglass will be highly regarded;
  • Previous experience in catalogue management will be highly regarded.
