What we are looking for

Our IT Team is Growing!! As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Platform Delivery Lead to join the team in Sydney.

You will be reporting into the Platform Delivery Manager and focusing on building and improving a range of internally built and vendor supplied products that create significant value for customers and all partners within the company. This is a critical role for our Gaming business and most of our products will require regulatory approval as part of the process.

As the Lead, you will achieve this by delivering and optimizing product features for the gaming platform. This includes working with key partners across the business to prioritize the projects and coordinate with business, vendors and internal IT teams to ensure that all systems are enhanced and maintained at current supported levels.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain a Gaming Platform feature register to track requests and prioritize – it will include a list of product enhancements, bug fixes for each vendor and internally built applications
  • Work closely with key partners to collaboratively develop and deliver the product roadmap / timeline for the gaming platform
  • Become an SME for the gaming platform systems
  • Develop a solid understanding of the Gaming business operations and the role that technology plays in assisting delivering business outcomes
  • Small enhancements and configuration (no code change), minor patches etc.
  • Provide SME expertise where required to gaming projects teams
  • Risk Management – Cyber and risk management
  • Forecasting and reporting on product and project spend and actuals
  • Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Leading partner engagement, expectations and communication flow between gaming platform teams, business partners and key vendors
  • Develop and implement a framework to ensure all Vendor run systems are maintained by vendors
  • Leading internal resources including Test team, Change Management, App support, vendors, IT Operations, Environments & Release and business partners to ensure all systems are maintained.
  • Vendor governance, tracking, SLA’s, renewals and meetings
  • Work with Technology Product Manager, development team and business partners to prioritize requests
  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical requirements for Development team.
  • Working closely with architecture team to ensure business priorities and goals align with architectural solutions and roadmaps

Knowledge, Qualifications, Languages, Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. Platform Delivery, Project Management, BA, Product Manager/Owner)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business/E-Commerce/Marketing/Information Systems)
  • Product lifecycle experience within software, development and analysis understanding
  • Strong partner leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to clearly communicate, both written and oral, with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and make effective decisions
  • A motivated individual who takes initiative and can lead multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
