About Us

Fines Victoria (FV) is responsible for the collection and enforcement of legal debt in Victoria. The Fines Reform model allows for the easier, fairer and simpler collection and enforcement of legal debts and make clear to people who seek to avoid their responsibilities that payment of legal debts is an obligation, not an option.

About the Role

There are four (4) fixed term Business Support Officer opportunities within Enforcement and Support Services. These roles will run through to June 2022.

The Business Support Officers play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the branch by providing administrative support, including records management, mail services and secretarial support such as minute taking and preparation of meeting agendas.

The Business Support Officers will:

  • provide administrative support across the branch
  • provide support and assistance in the presentation of meetings, workshops and training, including coordinating papers, organising venues, catering, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and other administrative tasks as required
  • identify and recommend process and system improvements for FV
  • provide a local reference point to maintain operational and administrative processes.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • be competent use of Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems and applications
  • have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially when engaging in data intensive tasks
  • be a good problem solver, with the ability to reach logical and timely resolutions
  • have strong organisational and planning skills, be able to multi-task and drive own workload
  • demonstrate abilities in general office management and the provision of confidential, personal and administrative support functions within a service delivery environment.
