About the role:

As we look to achieve continued growth within our, we have an opportunity for a Head of Customer Offers and Programs with experience in managing a B2B Cards Portfolio and developing new customer opportunities. Reporting to the Head of B2B Sales Operations and Marketing Services, this role will lead, develop and implement Ampol’s Card portfolio plan, together with crafting new-to-market B2B propositions and program offerings.

You will also support the Retail, Reseller and Direct Sales Channels and the Marketing division to deliver against both overall Marketing, Card and individual channel business plans. This is a dynamic role and involves your direction from concept inception to execution and launch with the opportunity to stage test-and-learn sessions to strategically refine at each delivery gate.

  • Analyse customer, market and industry research, to identify new Card products and new services propositions and leverage currently untapped segments.
  • Partner effectively with Insights and Data Analysis teams to review program success
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 5 direct reports and SMEs
  • Budgeting process, forecasting and monthly KPI reporting for the Card portfolio
  • Maintain effective working relationships with 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders

About you:

You will have proven experience in Cards, Offers and Programs with a focus on new business propositions and in-market initiatives aligned to a B2B strategy. You will hold a tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Economics or Business. A p ostgraduate qualification in Marketing Management is preferred.

You will have a minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in a similar role within Cards and Payments, Retail Energy, Renewable Energy or within a Start-up/Challenger Brand in Finance or Insurance. You will possess a practical, working knowledge of a large-scale Energy, Renewable Energy and Sustainability B2B programs or demonstrated experience in successful start-up conceptualisation and strong entrepreneurial and commercial acumen.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with CapEx and OpEx budgeting and forecasting together with structuring business cases and recommendations adhering to Trade Practices compliance
  • Combined ‘blue sky’ thinking with a collaborative style and commercial focus
  • Experience developing up to 5-year product roadmaps
  • Strong analytical, planning and delivery skills
  • Exceptional communication ability, both written and verbal
  • Relationship and stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • Well-developed project management and execution capability
  • Influential people leadership, elevating the team as a priority
