About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Post Placement Support Team leader who is action-oriented, resilient and customer focused to lead and manage a team of Post Placement Support (PPS) Consultants. Reporting to the PPS and Claims Manager, your responsibilities will include but be not limited to:

  • Providing high level support and advice to PPS Consultants to assist in actioning complex claims;
  • Coaching, mentoring and motivating the team to ensure the appropriate policies and procedures are followed;
  • Monitoring team and individual staff performance to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, including conducting monthly meetings and performance reviews;
  • Managing the training, development and mentoring of staff including new staff induction and probationary period;
  • Managing a case load of employment and education placements with principal responsibility for overflow workloads and/or large employers and meet administration requirements (evidenced by quality case notes, appropriate documentary evidence and audit results);
  • Monitoring PPS Consultant caseloads to ensure the contact regime is maintained;
  • Assisting PPS Consultants experiencing large caseloads with more complex functions to aid workflow;
  • Providing reports and information to management as required; and
  • Participate in a team environment including activities or projects, sharing skills and knowledge and learning from others.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term contract covering Parental Leave until April 2022.

Rostered working hours will be anywhere between 8am and 7.30pm.

You will be based in the Adelaide CBD at our National Administration Centre.

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

  • Have relevant experience in the Employment Services industry, with Outcome Claims experience (desirable);
  • Demonstrate team management experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry, including knowledge of human resource management requirements;
  • Prove your ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs;
  • Demonstrate strong skills in data entry, the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and ability to type a minimum 30 words per minute;
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to communicate verbally and in writing complex administration procedures;
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically to a diverse range of customers including customers and employers;
  • Demonstrate your ability to work under pressure; and
  • Hold qualifications or professional development in administration, management, employment or sales (desirable).
