About the Role:

As a member of the Nurse Workforce Unit team, the Allocation Officer is a customer focused individual with strong communications skills who works to facilitate nursing staff replacement with the support of an electronic workforce management system. The Nurse Workforce Unit provides a centralised and coordinated approach to nursing staff replacement across all St Vincent's Health Melbourne clinical areas. Supporting the operations of the unit, the Allocations Officer with also be responsible for various administrative functions.

About you:

You are a friendly, enthusiastic individual who can provide outstanding customer service to both our internal and external clients. You keep a cool head under pressure and are able to manage your time effectively. You have demonstrated computer literacy using the Microsoft Office Suite and sound written & verbal communication skills. You are flexible with your working hours. Ideally you have worked in the health industry particularly in the areas of allocations or rostering.
