JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Marketing and Brand team sits within our People, Culture and Brand division at Bethanie, playing an integral part in shaping Bethanie’s well-known brand in a competitive marketplace. Most of the team members are new and have been recruited from different industries to bring in fresh thinking and a best practice approach to taking Bethanie to market.

Reporting to the General Manager, Marketing and Brand, the Marketing and Brand Specialist will take responsibility for driving and delivering key innovative marketing and brand projects to drive further differentiation for the Bethanie brand in an exciting and competitive market. The role will manage our unique and interesting sponsorship program to ensure it is effective and all our sponsorship projects are amplified and leveraged. You will also be responsible for general marketing activities, including market research, events and supporting end to end campaigns.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity based in an attractive office setting conveniently located close to the city. This role is 0.8FTE, working 4 days a week.

About The Role

Working closely with the broader Marketing, Brand and Comms team, you will be responsible for:

  • Marketing plans and campaign delivery including further development of our master marketing plan
  • Assisting with components of the marketing strategy including market analytics, demographic information, segmentation, customer journey mapping and other data analytics
  • Drive market research programs, both strategic and tactical
  • Actively provide feedback to the organisation to improve Bethanie’s offer to the market and overall satisfaction of customers integrating in to the Bethanie community
  • Develop and drive Bethanie’s sponsorship program, ensuring our sponsorship investments drive the best outcome for Bethanie

About You

You’re a marketing generalist and thrive in a fast-paced environment working with an energetic and collaborative team. You have been exposed to and understand brand strategy, you love marketing and everything it entails, you crave market research and insights to help drive business decisions and have run market research projects. You are passionate about events and have run many to a very high standard and take on any project that is thrown at you with enthusiasm and positivity.
  • You get brand strategy and have demonstrated experience on either driving brand projects or have worked closely with brand teams to build a brand from the inside out
  • You have strong copywriting skills and can deliver best practice and innovative marketing campaigns and have managed strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge of sponsorship programs and experience in managing sponsorship desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in Event planning and management with strong governance
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to identify customer trends and quickly work towards goals in a changing landscape
  • High level of personal leadership, integrity, initiative and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong understanding of lead generation with a proven track record of driving sales results within a team
  • You’re able to prioritise your work and effectively manage your time with events and programs running concurrently
  • Degree in marketing or equivalent coupled with proven experience in a marketing role
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, print and production
