The Role

As the Head of Marketing, you will be a part of Lycamobile’s Australian leadership team.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for developing strategy and campaigns delivering against our Demand, Conversion and Base Management targets.

You will get to design and lead campaigns, define metrics to optimise performance and partner with internal stakeholders to drive the marketing strategy. You will oversee all aspects of demand generation marketing and support the sales pipeline development strategy to influence ongoing business growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and drive a Marketing strategy to achieve brand awareness and demand into all channels of the business.
  • Own the brand strategy delivering flawless go-to-market execution and ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all marketing efforts.
  • You will maximise sales of our product by implementing efficient marketing strategies at both a local area and national level.
  • Influence creative team to produce exciting on-brand marketing assets
  • Analysis and reporting - show ROI on activities such as ATL, eDMs, App, Digital campaigns and promotions. Monthly reporting to senior management on budgets and marketing plans.
  • In depth analysis of current user behaviours, discovering how customers are interacting with our products and optimise our research journeys and sales channels accordingly.
  • Accountable for demand generation targets. 
  • Support the management, growth and transformation of our Loyalty Program
  • Assessing & initiating publicity and promotions opportunities
  • Lead a high performing Marketing team to deliver results, taking ownership of the performance, development and wellbeing of your team and supporting them to achieve personal, team and business goals

Ideal Candidate

You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a background in Consumer Goods. You are passionate for and skilled in brand building and communications.

Relentlessly data-driven; focus on funnel optimisation and optimisation of the sales and marketing process. Deep understanding of building a highly predictable demand generation machine at scale. Track record of influencing pipeline revenue and sales through marketing campaigns, demand generation, and conversion. 

You are naturally service-oriented and enjoy working with people, exceptional communication skills, and bring positivity and passion to all of your interactions.

Proven experience in the following:

  • Five years experience working in a marketing environment.
  • Extensive experience in strategic brand management / portfolio management.
  • High levels of creativity to think of new ways to solve old problems.
  • Experience in the roll out of digital solutions across an organisation.
  • New product development experience, from concept to commercialisation.
  • Well-developed communication and writing skills, with the demonstrated ability to clearly communicate marketing concepts to all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and marketing automation technology
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Highly commercial and ROI focused.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, collaboratively and with an empathetic, people-first approach that encourages others to reach their full potential.
