Who We're Looking For

If you're a Speech Pathologist, qualified as either Grade 1 or Grade 2, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

As part of our growing trans-disciplinary Childhood Intervention Services team at East Ringwood, EACH is looking for a Speech Pathologist (known internally as a Key Worker) on a part-time or fulltime basis to provide community / school based and home-based therapy to children under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and / or fee for service, making a huge difference to the lives of those with developmental delays and disabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll build relationships with the community as you deliver services at clients' homes, childcare centres, kindergartens, and schools to work within the child's natural settings. Using the social model of health approach, identify goals and provide support and strategies for children under 12 and their families. You will need to make appropriate referrals both internally and externally for clients and to undertake secondary consultations in the team, liaise and support other team members, facilitate group programs, prepare resources for children to use in their natural settings. A coaching approach will be useful to build the capacity of parents and educators with the knowledge EACH's internal and external services, and you'll be confident making client referrals for secondary consultations, as required. EACH will support you to develop working knowledge of the NDIS and requirements on service provision framework.

We are a team of committed allied health professionals, teachers, social workers and educators. 17 staff currently work within the Childhood Intervention Service
