  • Full time ongoing opportunity based in Newcastle, NSW.
  • Salary starting from $97,152 plus employers contribution to superannuation

As the Property Development Project Officer you will support land disposals including sales and acquisitions, commercial and other complex land use projects and administration to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown land.

In this role you will also investigate, research information and provide timely advice on complex land status and land allocation issues.

About you

To be successful in this role you will;

  • Be an excellent communicator and able to build and maintain strong networks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate experience in applying legislation, policy and processes consistently and delivering outcomes.
  • Demonstrate an ability to prioritise competing work demands given the diverse range of issues encountered simultaneously to be resolved with the defined time-frames.
  • Demonstrate experience in researching information and interpreting and applying legislation and policy to support business case documentation, ministerial correspondence and executive briefings.

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Current drivers’ license and willingness to travel.

About Our Team

The Sales and Disposals team manages the sale, vesting and compulsory acquisition of Crown land across NSW, plus the creation of easements.
