About the role:

The Health Promotion Administration Officer contributes to the delivering a high quality health promotion service which aims to improve health and reduce health inequity in Western NSW.

About the business unit:

Health Promotion sits within the Aboriginal Health & Wellbeing Directorate and provides service to both Western NSW and Far West Local health Districts. The Health Promotion team focuses on population level interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of the population in western NSW. The team focuses on the areas of healthy weight and active living and tobacco control.

Where you’ll be working:

Dubbo Health Service is a large rural referral service, situated 450kms North West of Sydney. The Health Service has a 160 acute bed inpatient service, Emergency Department and provides nearly 200,000 specialist outpatient appointments per year. Dubbo Primary and Community Health Centre is currently located off site and also provide services to the catchment population.
