Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

The Education Network (part of the Research & Education Network) has responsibility for the professional development of nursing and medical staff of the WSLHD. Staff are dedicated to education and training, support roles and functions and provide training in specific disciplines.
This position provides high level administrative assistance to the Nursing and Midwifery and Allied Heath Education Manager. 
The role has responsibility to independently manage a number of key areas within both departments, ensuring timeliness and completion.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Highly developed written and oral communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people from a variety of disciplines.
  2. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload.
  3. Experience working independently and as a team member.
  4. Demonstrated experience with computer applications, including familiarity with databases and proficiency in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HPE (HPRM, TRIM).
  5. Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of administrative systems, processes, policies and procedures.
