Our client is seeking a Junior Service Desk officer to join their IT Team’s Service Desk for an initial 12-month contract.

As part of the IT Service Desk team, you will work closely with a range of staff to ensure the reliable and functional operation of information technology. The Service Desk team ensures the service management and delivery of a stable and contemporary IT environment, which supports both corporate computing and exhibition environments, through the provision of first and second level support for all desktop, network and business systems including triage, user communications and direct support.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a majority of the following skills and experience;

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, databases and remote control.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, sometimes of a complex nature, including when to escalate problems.
  • Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration.
  • Previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience preferred.
  • General understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Ability to managing competing priorities under minimal supervision and mange workloads.

This role will require you to gain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (minimum, NV1 preferred).

Starting ASAP, this role is unique as an entry level IT contract role that will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and expand their experience.
