Sales Manager- Sydney

Blis is looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Sales Manager in Sydney, reporting to the Head of Sales ANZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience within the

market, a strong contact list and hold existing relationships with the major agency groups and mobile / location specialists.


The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an in-depth

understanding of the current digital market and where to leverage local and global spends to drive investment. The most important aspects of this role are to work closely with the nominated agencies and clients to understand client needs, create campaign winning solutions and develop strong client relationships.


In addition, you will need to manage a strong forward pipeline and deliver both significant levels of new business and the highly professional service for which Blis is renowned.


Key responsibilities

• Leverage existing and new relationships to build your own pipeline of opportunity across the Blis product set.

• Target customers across media agencies and their clients including mobile / location specialists, strategists, planners, and programmatic teams.

• Convert pipeline and acquire new customers and accounts to achieve aggressive business targets.

• Create and lead sales presentations for your agencies and clients and for the team.

• Build and maintain strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Strategic and tactical approach to account management.

• Ensure a high level of accuracy across campaigns.

• Have an active role and input in company sales meetings and team initiatives.

Skils and Experience

• Strong background in digital or mobile media sales and account management.

• Expert knowledge of location, mobile display advertising, programmatic media and product & data offerings.

• Knowledge of the broader media market and the role of location / mobile advertising withinit for brands.

• Currently leveraging digital budgets from media / mobile agencies.

• Existing relationships within Sydney media agency groups.

• A demonstrable understanding of the needs and requirements of digital media strategists,planners and buyers.

• A proven track record of servicing existing clients and growing a pipeline from scratch.

• The confidence to present to large and small audiences.

• A proven ability to close deals and achieve targets.

• Demonstrable self-starter experience.

• Commitment to being a team player in a dynamic environment.
